Onyx & Jade sells jewellery by weight, listed in grams beside the price, on the grounds that this is the only honest way to describe a piece of metal.

The Shenzhen studio casts in recycled silver and a low-copper brass that stays warm rather than turning green, and finishes everything with a stone tumble rather than a polish — pieces arrive matte and gain their shine from being worn.

The founder trained as a metallurgist and did not intend to make jewellery. This shows, mostly for the better.

Where they are now

Onyx & Jade took a permanent counter inside a London department store in 2025 and has since doubled its studio. LePont still handles all of its EU fulfilment and returns.
