What we collect

On a live LePont, we would collect what an order requires and very little else: your name, delivery and billing address, email, and the contents of your order. Payment details would be handled by our payment processor and never stored by us.

Your bag, wishlist and chosen region are stored in your browser's local storage on this demonstration site. They never leave your device and are not transmitted anywhere.

Why we would hold it

To fulfil your order, to handle a return, to answer a question you have asked, and to meet the record-keeping obligations that come with importing goods into the UK and EU.

Marketing email would be opt-in and separately revocable. Unsubscribing would never affect your ability to order or return.

Who would see it

Our fulfilment partner, our payment processor, and the carrier delivering your parcel — each limited to what their part of the job requires. Designers would see the shipping details needed for a direct dispatch and nothing more.

We would not sell personal data, and we would not share it for anyone else's advertising.

How long

Order records for the period customs and tax rules require, typically six years. Account details until you delete the account. Marketing consent until you withdraw it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to certain processing. On a live site there would be a named contact for these requests and a one-month response window.

You would also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority — the ICO in the UK, or your member-state authority in the EU.

Cookies

This demonstration site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. A live version would use strictly necessary cookies by default, with anything else behind an explicit opt-in.
